Assessment Center is a dynamic application that allows researchers to centralize all research activities.  It includes features that promote instrument development, study administration, data management, and storage of statistical analysis results.  This workshop is a practical introduction to using Assessment Center to deliver PROMIS short forms and CAT and/or develop independent instruments for computer-based delivery. All features of Assessment Center will be demonstrated including selecting existing PROMIS measures, creating new measures, setting up a study for online administration including the creation of online consent forms and exporting data. Attendees are required to bring a laptop computer with wireless connectivity (workshop fee includes wireless access charges). Pre-requisites: "Basics of IRT and CAT" workshop or basic knowledge of IRT and CAT recommended.

Features of Assessment Center utilize Adobe Reader and Excel.  It is recommended that you have these applications on your laptop.
